Kim Rowe delivers standout performances at 2026 Mid-Range and Long-Range National Championships
Team Vihtavuori member Kim Rowe delivered an exceptional series of performances across two premier national events, earning top honors and multiple podium finishes at both the 2026 NRA National High Power Mid-Range Prone Championships and the 2026 NRA National High Power Long Range Championships.
At the NRA National High Power Mid-Range Prone Championships, held June 2–6 at Oklahoma City Gun Club in Arcadia, Oklahoma, Rowe captured the Patriot Minuteman Trophy with a Grand Aggregate score of 2399-171X. Competing across five days at 300, 500, and 600 yards, Rowe also earned recognition as High Woman.
In addition, Rowe was a key member of Team USNRT-Rowe, which captured 1st Place in a team event alongside teammates Larry Sollars, Brandon Green and Jonathan O’Neal, posting an outstanding team score of 2398-182X.
Just weeks earlier, Rowe delivered another outstanding performance at the NRA National High Power Long Range Championships, hosted May 19–23 by the Alliance Rifle Club in Malvern, Ohio. The NRA Long Range National Championships are held over five days, with three days dedicated to individual competition followed by two days of team events. During the individual portion, competitors fire 20 shots per stage at 1,000 yards, along with 15 shots per stage in the Palma matches at distances of 800, 900, and 1,000 yards. Rowe finished second overall in the grand aggregate with a score of 1239-78X.
Rowe’s long-range success included an impressive list of individual and team accomplishments:
• Leech Cup Individual Trophy Winner
• Remington Band of Brothers Trophy Individual Winner
• Mustin Trophy – 2nd Place
• Romanian Team Trophy Winners (USNRT-Green)
• Port Clinton Team Trophy Winners (USNRT-Green)
• Herrick Team Trophy – 2nd Place (Silver Medal)
• Cowboy Palma Team Trophy – 3rd Place (Bronze Medal)
• Canadian Cup – 3rd Place overall and High Woman
Rowe credited her long-range success to her meticulous approach to handloading and her reliance on premium components. “The most common question I am asked on the range is, ‘What’s your load?’ The answer is always the same: I use the best components available, including Vihtavuori powder, Berger bullets, and Lapua brass – I reload because every detail matters, and using top components builds confidence that my ammunition is the most reliable in any condition and always results in the accuracy and precision I need every time to be able to win,” said Rowe.
Rowe’s performances across both championships highlight her elite skills, consistency, and dedication to excellence, further solidifying her position among the nation’s top high power rifle competitors.
