Vihtavuori Powder Used to Set New Long-Range National Record

Vihtavuori Powders, known in competitive circles as being the most temperature stable, cleanest burning, with consistent lot-to-lot production, were used to establish a new national record during the US 2023 F-Class Nationals in November.

Congratulations to Team Vortex, who established the new F/TR Long-Range Team national record with an overall score of 1588-76X. Team Vortex members fired Vihtavuori N150 behind Berger Bullets, loaded in the required F/TR 308 Winchester cartridge for the record victory.

The 2023 US F-Class National Championships were hosted by the Desert Sharpshooters and held October 30 – November 5^th at Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix, AZ. The national competition had over 240 shooters from all over the United States testing their skills at 600 and 1,000 yards.

Vihtavuori Powders were loaded by more than 50% of the competitors surveyed during the F-Class Nationals.
