Team Vihtavuori’s Lema Soto Wins 2024 European F-Open Championships

Team Vihtavuori shooter José Antonio Lema Soto of Spain has won the F-Class European Championships F-Open Division Grand Aggregate with a score of 399.49. Second place went to USA’s Doug Skogman (398.52) and Italy’s Massimiliano Salafia secured third (398.47).

F/TR Division Grand Aggregate winner was Serbia’s Tomica Nikolic (395.33) followed by Pakistani’s Asad Wahid (394.39) for silver and Muhammad Ahmad Jawed (393.48) securing the bronze.

The 2024 European F-Class Championships were hosted by the Great Britain F-Class Rifle Association and were held September 3-8th at the famous Stickledown Range at Bisley Camp in the UK. Shooters faced challenging weather conditions where day 2 was canceled! Vihtavuori Powder was the platinum sponsor of the event.

The F-Open Team event winner was Three Lions from UK, followed by Team USA 2, and GB Blue. F/TR Team winner was USA White, with Team USA Blue finishing 2nd, Team Pakistan Green in 3rd.

Congratulations to competitors establishing multiple new records this year. In F-Open, perfect scores were fired by:

  • Poland’s Karol Henger at 800 meters (75.14)
  • Italy’s Gianluca Majer at 800 meters (75.14)
  • Italy’s Walter Gravano at 900 meters (75.14)

In F/TR, record scores were fired by:

  • Pakistan’s Muhammad Ahmad Jawed at 1,000 meters (75.12)
  • UK’s Dan Lomas at 900 meters (75.12)
  • Pakistan’s Muhammad Ahmad Jawed at 900 meters (75.12)
  • USA’s Keith Trapp at 900 meters (75.12)
  • Italy’s Pietro Alberti at 900 meters (75.12)
  • Italy’s Lamberto Licheri at 900 meters (75.12)
  • Italy’s Vincenzo Foglia at 800 meters (75.14)
