Reloading data for Cowboy Action Shooting (CAS)
Cowboy action shooting (a.k.a CAS, or western action shooting, single action shooting, Western 3-gun and Cowboy 3-Gun) is a competitive shooting discipline. The firearms used in this sport such as single-action revolvers and lever-action rifles often require handloaded ammo. The Vihtavuori Cowboy Action Shooting reloading data serves this special purpose. For flexible usage, we provide our reloading data in metric and imperial dimension systems, i.e. charge weight in grams and grains as well as muzzle velocity in meters and feet per second. All the loads on these pages are pressure tested according to the C.I.P. method. The listed maximum loads should never be exceeded.
We wish you successful reloading with Vihtavuori premium powders!
